SAD NEWS! Former Falcons, Eaglet Assistant Coach Muda Yusuf Is Dead

Former Super Falcons and Golden Eaglet Assistant Coach, Muda Ademola Yusuf Is Dead.

The former Chief Coach Osun State Sports Council died today (Saturday August 22, 2020) at 68 after suffering from a protracted illness, throwing Osun football fraternities into serious mourning.

He died in Oshogbo, where his family are living, and will also be interred according to Islamic rites.

Yusuf, was the pioneer coach of defunct BCC Lions of Gboko, where he discovered Dominic Iorfa, Mike Idoko, and host of others.

He was assistant to late Joseph Ladipo Jossylad, at the Super Falcons between 2007-2009, and also assistant to Monday Odigie, at Golden Eaglet in 2009-2010.

 

The former Ranchers Bees gaffer led Team Osun to the 2006 National Sports Festival tagged ‘Gateway Festival’, where they won Silver.
