Super Eagles forward, Paul Ebere Onuachu scored his 27th league goal for Belgian Jupiler League side, KRC Genk as they defeated St. Truiden 4-0 on Sunday.
Theo Bongonda scored the opening goal for Genk in the 21st minute.
Bryan Heynen doubled their lead off Junya Ito’s assist in the 25th minute.
Kristian Thorstvedt extended Genk’s lead to three before the halftime break.
After the interval, Paul Onuachu scored his 27th league goal in the 54th minute.
He has also scored two goals in the Belgian Cup coupled with two goals for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in their last two games against Benin Republic and Lesotho in the 2021 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifiers.
Genk occupied the second position on the Belgian Jupiler league table with 56 points from 33 games.
They will travel to face Antwerp in their next league encounter on April 18, 2021.
