Nigeria been a country with different people of different tribe, with different believe following different culture and different traditions where people do things with reasons which at times might be hereditary.
However, Aare Ona Kakanfo the 15th of Yorubaland, Otunba Gani Adams, has provided reasons why he is always wearing white garments in most occasions.
Gani Adams said this on Friday amidst an exclusive VanguardLive interview.
He said: “In 2001, people started telling me to be putting on white and I asked: why should I be wearing white when I have several other garments with multiple colours? Where will I go and put all these clothes?.
“But things were not okay for me because I didn’t change my clothe to white not until 2004/5 when I decided to give a tailor about 30 different materials (all white) to sew for me. This was how I started wearing white,” he said.
Recall that on the 14 October, 2017. Gani Adams was declared Aare Ona Kakanfo and ever since his time in the office, he has been fighting to ensure the freedom of the Yoruba family.
