Ilechukwu Gives Heartland FC Conditions To Return

There are indications that Fidelis Ilechukwu will not be on the bench yet again for relegation bound Heartland in today Oriental Derby clash with Enyimba at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri, Imo State capital.

Recall the former Mountain of Fire Ministries (MFM FC) coach was conspicuously missing in the 3-0 thrashing of Naze Millionaires by Plateau United on MatchDay 3 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), as he didn’t travel to Jos with the team.

According to an inside source, ‘The Working One’ may not be on the bench in today’s home game against derby rivaly Enyimba, reason been that Heartland management have not fulfilled it’s promise  to the team.

“The management of the club have been nonchalant as regards the no signing of new players ban for the next two registration seasons imposed on Heartland by the Federation of Internation Football Association (FIFA).

“For him to return to duty, the management must work towards having that FIFA ban lifted by paying it’s two former players and also registering all it’s players in its arsenal.

“The must also make provision of a training pitch and facilities for the players to train and work according to the coaches training schedule before and after matches.

“Ilechukwu is one NPFL coach that see players welfare as top priority, as he always want the best from them on and off the pitch. So the management Heartland must easure that it provides accommodations for the squad.

“Furthermore, the management must also pay the backlog of salaries and bonuses owed it’s current squad if there would be any headway.”

The Naze Millionaires are rock bottom on the NPFL log with no points after suffering three defeats in a row with their biggest this season against Plateau United.
