The federal government has revealed its plans of reviewing the January 18, 2021 resumption date for schools across the country.

This is as a result of the rise in COVID-19 cases, following the second wave of the virus.

The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, stated this on Monday at the briefing of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 in Abuja.

The minister said, “On the January 18 resumption date, we are reviewing it. We are going to review it.

“At the PTF meeting today, we considered it, and tomorrow, the ministry is going to take it up.”
